Wendy Fraser
Wendy Fraser was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley. Since her pre-teen days, she has been sewing up a storm. While she started off with clothing and other projects, her horizons have broadened since then considerably. About 10 years ago, her sister-in-law brought her to a quilting class, and that was all it took to get her hooked. Wendy fell in love with all the tools of the trade and hasn't looked back since. With her new found quilting knowledge, Wendy applied the principles and techniques to clothing. Quilting was the gateway that lead her to also get involved in art quilting and fiber arts. Wendy has won awards both regionally and nationally for her quilts and clothing. Also, she has had items juried into international quilt shows. Her work has been the subject of solo fiber arts exhibitions as well as group exhibitions.
Wendy is involved in numerous guilds and fiber arts groups. About 5 years ago, she started teaching and spreading her incredible wealth of knowledge.
