Sandra Bernier

Three and a half years ago, a friend of Sandra’s offered to teach her how to quilt. Sandra’s response to her was “do I have to know how to operate a sewing machine?” Little did Sandra know what a whole new world she was getting into!

To this very day Sandra is very insistent that she doesn’t know how to sew – she claims that she can only quilt (1/4” seams are her specialty)! Sandra loves all the colours of the fabric, the cutting, the piecing: the entire process really. She can be found at The Running Stitch on Thursdays when she’s not off on an adventure. Aside from quilting, Sandra’s other passion is travelling in her coach with her husband all over North America. She particularly likes checking out what other quilt shops have to offer to broaden her horizons!
